Key Highlights of Aave V3 Deployment on Scroll Mainnet:

• The launch on Scroll represents the Aave DAO’s first deployment to a zkEVM chain with others expected to be coming shortly this quarter.
• Aave v3 on Scroll will launch with three initial assets: WETH, wstETH and USDC. Further additions will be put to Aave governance discussion shortly after launch.
• Aave’s expansion onto Scroll mainnet will be supported by Scroll ecosystem partners deploy 500,000 USD in $AAVE staked to the Aave Safety Module to provide additional security guarantees and limit risk exposure to the DAO.
• Aave is one of the first blue-chip DeFi protocols to deploy on Scroll, but will be in good company as 150+ projects are launching on the network and Aave will be able to harness a vibrant new ecosystem that expands across the globe.
• The integration ensures an added layer of security through Scroll’s zkRollups, ensuring that user funds remain secure while enjoying the diverse lending and borrowing opportunities provided by Aave V3.
